Asia Conference 2008

I was excited for the Asia Conf, it just make me rememeber the good old days when I was still a youth, excited for the Lord, for His word.

The first day was a 'Wow" to me, we are indeed moving from glory to glory. First thing is the "welcome pack". I'm impressed.
Can you imagine the preparation of the entire event. We're of international standard. The committee of of AC really think thru every details. I never been to a conference that will ven prepare mints for the audience. I can proudly said that this is much more better than those I had went outside.

1st day - I ended up in Hall 10 but I still feel the excitment. The crowd was excited, the Word was powerful.
The statement that impacted me:" Love is all around, we just need to know who to discover them."

Day 2 - Under attack by cold, honestly speakly, I'm struggling during the service, I could not think or response properly as I normal do, I even feel tired standing and sitting down. Yet the Word encourages me.
It talk about generation gap. Pastor made a statement which impacted me and deeply make me go back and reflect.
He said that the older generation has what the younger generation needed.
It's because of man's imprefect, the older generation did things that hurt and disappointed those who are of the younger generation. This inturn causes the younger generations to reject the wise advises that could make them better people.

later on, I was touched by his prayer.
He asked God to forgive the pride, rebellion of man which cause the generation gap.

This is such a great revelation of the truth!
I, myself reflections on truth that I had hurt. No one is indeed perfect especially our parents so as children we need to understand that if we want our future to understand us, we first must now make the decision to understand our parents.

The decision which we make can indeed break the curse to pass on to the next generation. I want my future children to willing to listen and learn from my life experiences instead of thinking I'm nagging at them.
So you youth, think again. What happen in the future is determined by your decision now.

Nevertheless, I heard the good and the bad. Not all who came are impressed. Some come with a critical and judgemental mind. Well, no matter what, how the tree is, is showed by the fruits we bare. One thing for sure, I'm proud to be a City Harvester.

Anyway, Just great to see you guys chonging for so many sessions. Even some of us are down with sickness yet, this cannot stop us to love God and his Word.
It's very easy to take things for granted when we are surrounded by good things.
Just want to say this from experience, loving God is not just in the mind,it's in our daily life.
God is real in action.

One last qns for you to ponder on before I end this:
What do you want to do for God today?

Lots of love,
Be Strong and courages
Daphne
